Keep Your Reasons Close

I’ve never been a fan of the “what’s your excuse” phrase…..

I get what people mean when they say it……

I have three kids and got fit…what’s your excuse?

I work a full time job, am a single parent and still make time for the gym….what’s your excuse?

(I’m a mom and work mostly with women that are so that’s my relation but apply this however you need)….

To me these “excuses” are in fact “reasons”…..my whys if you will….

Missing a workout to be with my family isn’t an excuse…..it’s a reason to MAKE TIME AND DO IT when I can…..

Being busy with work and children isn’t an excuse….it’s a reason to invest a little time for yourself at the gym, to provide more energy and stress relief to go about your day….to see your training as an appt. with yourself that you won’t miss….

When we let our “reasons” spiral into “excuses” that’s when we have a problem….

And to confuse our reasons as an excuse makes us feel like failures when were not….

We all have valid reasons…find those…keep them close at heart…and let GO…GO…GO of all the other excuses that weigh you down!!!

Know the difference. Find balance. It’s a journey. We all have seasons.
We are all busy….and no one is perfect…….
